"Fedora 11 touchpad problem..."

In my Lenovo laptop I have Fedora11.
I'm facing problem with the GNOME as-

1. I need to press ctrl+F8 all the times after booting to activate the touchpad.

2. After doing this too , the mouse click doesn't work untill I go to preferences and make the changes. After every boot I've to do that and this is freaking me out.

Please give your valuable suggestions to me asap.

Hey Anisha ,

Thanks for the link , however this is to enable 'tapping' in KDE (that's actually a tougher part than Gnome); I have used this link for doing that before!

I still didn't get any one shot solution to my problem anyways, I'm trying!

By the way it's nice to see another Linux Freak from neighborhood
