Add it to the startup file. You're welcome.

You find my answer rude, don't you? But so is your question, where are the details? Distribution(Fedora/Suse), Environment(KDE/Gnome), Effects(beryl/compiz) etc.

Little bit.

Sorry. Im using Fedora 6 KDE. Not sure what the effects are though. Im guessing compiz? I have a nvidia driver and i run it using the command: desktop-effects

One other problem, it seemed to load up when i rebooted my machine but i am missing all the title bars so i can move any windows. If i disable then re-enable desktop-effects it works then.

Ok FC6 KDE, great, you cleared that up.

Now i presume you are pointing at the default desktop effects which come with it. You might want to install Beryl for full awesome effects.
Code:
yum install beryl
Once its installed you can run 'beryl-manager' anywhere. To load it at startup you have to add it to the service startup, oops, i forgot where in KDE. I use Gnome, so i add it in System Main Menu->Preferences->More preferences->Sessions. Other options like /etc/rc.local, /your_home/.bash_profile might also help.

Get some cool themes at Gnome-look.org

BTW what nvidia driver are you using? Is it from livna? If not, get it 'yum install kmod-nvidia'.

Hello all,,

I have a question about Graphics Card.

I planning to install FC 6 but a lot of problem seems happen at the forum. I feel scared and headaches.

Which driver you all prefer for NVIDIA card ?Is it official NVIDIA website or third party website such livna.org?

I have read some articles that mentioned that some of the drivers will overwrite certain files such as glibc. (I think, I have forgetten)

Any help to my proble at boot time will greatly appreciated.

Please suggest some realiable and less problem drivers.

Your help is greatly appreciated by me and others.

Thanks for your help.
