I have two partitions NTFS (WindowsXP) and EXT2 (FC4) and after Fedora installation I couldn't mount the windows partition. The funny thing is that it worked before (every time I installed *nix and win) but it doesn't want to work now.
Code:
[root@localhost ~]# mount -t vfat /dev/hda1 /mnt/win
mount: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/hda1,
missing codepage or other error
In some cases useful info is found in syslog - try
dmesg | tail or so
Code:
[root@localhost ~]# mount /dev/hda1 /mnt/win
mount: unknown filesystem type 'ntfs'
