Beware KDE Users


A Downloadable plasmiod from the KDE download site will Freeze up your Desktop. I installed it on two i686 boxes and it froze the Desktop, The mouse would move around but you couldn't click on anything, nothing would respond to clicks

A good example of why the standard recommendation is to use your distro's repositories. Mixing repos is a good way to mess things up - I know this from experience, but do it anyway.

You forget to notice that KDE Widgets do not come in the Fedora Repo.
So please before you spout off, check and verify before you open your mouth.
