Sound on Asus all-in-one
Hello,
I'm a Linux newbie. I installed Elementary OS on my new Asus all-in-one PC, in dual boot with Windows. The problem is that the audio, under Elementary, isn't working. I tried to stop and restart Alsa but without success. Can you help me? Thank you very much Vsupercat |

Hmmmm... sorry. Does it beep? What happens if you
Code:
echo -e "\a" Code:
lspci | grep Audio |
Hello there!
It doesn't beep nor any other sound. I tried the system test sound and Chromium. Mplayer gives a skin error, so it isn't usable.:( Typing Code:
echo -e "\a" Code:
lspci | grep Audio Thanks again! |

Mplayer doesn't open at all, because of that skin error... I'm using the default Elementary Player, called Music.

Hello!
Music doesn't show any error, it looks like working, but no sound at all... The configured language on the system is Italian. Quote:
