[SOLVED] Trying to change Grub OS boot window background Debian 12

Hello All,

I'd like to change the background image for the grub boot window- the window that allows you to choose which OS to launch. I'm using Debian 12 and a couple of solutions online didn't pan out. Help much appreciated.

Just figured it out. I changed the file path in /etc/default/grub to point to the new image. I was looking at that file earlier but didn't see that option line. Lesson- read slowly and more carefully. ;-)

If you are interested in this, you might take a look at the link below which has a lot of information on background images with Grub. It's Ubuntu but should all apply to Debian. You should also be able to simply put a proper image file in the /boot/grub directory and then update grub and no entry is needed in the /etc/default/grub file.
