"Testing" Install for AMD64?

I am running an AMD 64 Athlon (3800+) and would like to know if this is the correct link I need to use for "Etch" 64 bit OS on my PC. I would like to do the "Net-Install" so I can get the latest / more recent packages this way after I edit my "sources.list".

Thanks for any point in the right direction.

The debian-amd64 mailing list has shown this as the link to testing images.
http://cdimage.debian.org/pub/cdimag...g/daily/amd64/
and hence for the netist image.
http://cdimage.debian.org/pub/cdimag...64-netinst.iso

The list has often recommended this netinstall image put together by one of the subscribers/developers.
http://tinyplanet.ca/~lsorense/amd64...12-netinst.iso Its ~ 90MB but is a sarge distribution. It has helped some people get over troublesome install images. If you do use a sarge installer, like this, you can still change the /etc/apt/sources.list file quite soon after and install testing packages

Try #2 first

but if you have trouble try the 3rd.
SATA drives are often a problem. If you do have problems you might find someone with similar hardware by searching the lists at http://lists.debian.org/debian-amd64/

I will give it a shot and see. Does Debian use seperate sources for testing on the 64 OS or the same sources as the 32?

The AMD64 port is not "official" unfortunately so it has slightly different mirrors.
The list is here http://amd64.debian.net/README.mirrors.html

If you haven't got it already, there is some useful info in the howto
