Starting Gnome in Debian Woody

I have installed Woody on my machine. In Taskel I chose the x-window system and desktop environments to be installed. I chose xdm to be the display manager. When I start up the system it likes to load KDE when i log in. How do I choose to use Gnome?

Edit or create the file .xsession in your home directory and put the following line into it:
Code:
exec gnome-session

Try installing "gdm," the gnome display manager.
