"shutdown -F -r now" command doesn't work on Debian Jessie

Hi

Knows anyone why
Code:

# shutdown -F -r now
command doesn't work on Debian Jessie?
Code:
# uname -a
Linux jessie 3.16.0-4-amd64 #1 SMP Debian 3.16.7-ckt20-1+deb8u1 (2015-12-14) x86_64 GNU/Linux
# shutdown -F -r now
Code should not be reached 'Unhandled option' at ../src/systemctl/systemctl.c:6316, function shutdown_parse_argv(). Aborting.
Aborted
#

Yep, shutdown on jessie doesn't have -F (Force fsck on reboot) option:
Code:
# shutdown --help
shutdown [OPTIONS...] [TIME] [WALL...]

Shut down the system.

     --help Show this help
  -H --halt Halt the machine
  -P --poweroff Power-off the machine
  -r --reboot Reboot the machine
-h Equivalent to --poweroff, overridden by --halt
  -k Don't halt/power-off/reboot, just send warnings
     --no-wall Don't send wall message before halt/power-off/reboot
  -c Cancel a pending shutdown
Knows anyone howto force "fsck" on jessie by the next reboot?

On Debian, fsck runs anyway, and automatically cleans any problems that can be easily fixed. Is your drive corrupted too badly, or are you just making sure?

I would like to be sure, before I'm doing an image for other machines.

I think you could also run fsck in a read-only mode even when your system is running and it should report all the problems found, if there are any.

The alternative method is
Code:
sudo touch /forcefsck
sudo reboot
The file /forcefsck is removed when fsck finishes.
