Pleaaase respond quickly I just can't stand Windows anymore!!!!
I had to reinstall windows 98 for the kids and that killed by GRUB so i had to re-install it but I don't know how!
I searched google but couldn't find what I wanted
All I have is the Debian Net Installlation CD and KNOPPIX LiveCD (if it helps)
Well boot knoppix, open a terminal and run grub. You'll need to tell it where it's configuration files are. Grub counts from zero so numbers are one less than you'd expect. Also, it uses numbers instead of letters so to grub, /dev/hda5 (for example) is (hd0,4) and /dev/hdb8 would be (hd1,7). So if your /boot/grub/grub.conf is on /dev/hda3 enter
grub
> root (hd0,2)
> setup (hd0)
> quit
