Problem with git after upgrade

Hi

Just did a safe-upgrade to wheezy/sid and it went mostly ok, but I have a problem with an error in dpkg

Code:
(Reading database ... 232522 files and directories currently installed.)
Preparing to replace git 1:1.7.2.5-3 (using .../git_1%3a1.7.8.2-1_amd64.deb) ...
Moving /etc/emacs/site-start.d/50git-core.el out of the way...
mv: `/usr/lib/git-core/git-add.tmp' and `/usr/lib/git-core/git-add' are the same file
dpkg: error processing /var/cache/apt/archives/git_1%3a1.7.8.2-1_amd64.deb (--unpack):
subprocess new pre-installation script returned error exit status 1
configured to not write apport reports
Reinstalling /etc/emacs/site-start.d/50git-core.el that was moved away
Errors were encountered while processing:
 /var/cache/apt/archives/git_1%3a1.7.8.2-1_amd64.deb
E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)
I am stuck here as I cannot try to fix/install anything else until this is resolved

any help would be fantastic.

Should be fixed with version 1:1.7.8.3-1.
