Orinoco Wireless Patch on Debian?

I'm wondering if anyone could help me patch my orinoco wireless drivers. I used to use slackware, where my kernel source was just sitting there in /usr/src/linux for me to play with and patch the drivers that way, but on my new debian box there is no kernel source visible. I'm guessing it has something to do with the fact that the kernel was maybe installed via a package, much like how in fedora you do not get the source because it is installed with an RPM. So, if this is the case, can anyone give me a little instruction as to how I can patch my drivers? Currently they are in my kernel as modules, and get loaded every time I pop in my orinoco pcmcia wireless card.

Installing the source of any package in Debian is done seperatly using the command "apt-get source packagename ".
Hope this Helps.

do this yo

apt-get install kernel-source-2.6.8 <-whatever your ver. os
cd /usr/src
tar xvfj kernel-source-2.6.8.tar.bz2
ln -s /usr/src/kernel-sources-2.6.8 /usr/src/linux

just make sure you type the correct name of the kernel sources... i might have a dash wrong or a period wrong, but that's the layout you should go by

refer to my documentation to see my step by step guide...
