New to Debian


Hey all i just did the Debian Ftp install everything went great. However I don't have a gui. Don't get me wrong i love c/l but i need a gui .... can anyone help me... i tried startx and other crap but nothing worked.. if anyone ncan help pleassssssseee

as root
# apt-get install x-window-system
# apt-get install ?????? (gnome.kde.fluxbox...whatever you want)
