network card :<

Hey. got it to start properly. turned out to be an old cd drive that couldn't read cd-r's. anyways, i'm in a bit of a quandry here. i'm going to select my network driver (its a D-Link DE220T) and when i select the proper package, it says "Installation failed". i can use the dummy package, but i don't know if that'll be sufficient. what do i do?

just a thought - you may need to ge the pc booted in windowz and get the parameters for the network card and then input them manually in your installation if you are sure you've got the right driver

Bradut's idea is a good one. However, if you don't have Windows currently installed on that machine, you might try some common ISA settings: IRQs 3,5,9,10,11,12; I/Os 0x280,0x300,0x320, etc. It might take a little time, but it could save you the hassle and moral dilemma of installing Windows. You also didn't state which module you're using. NE2000, right?
