Cool Lilo on a floppy


I've got some matter with a slack 9.
I can't boot and I'm thinking to install
a Woody (ah Debian...)
Do u think I can boot pacefully with lilo on a floppy?
What can u suggest to me so that I can succeed in booting my
Debian thx to this mean (I can't install lilo on the mbr)

There should be no problem booting lilo from a floppy. Just remember to tell the installer not to use your mbr
