liblcms install problem

Hello,

I am trying to install dvd::rip, which needs transcode, which needs liblcms. When I apt-get install liblcms, it wants to install that and imlib11. It also wants to remove everything with KDE.

user@host:~# apt-get install liblcms

what gives, has anyone seen this before? I am using a Debian release installed from knoppix. I don't believe that would cause any dependency issues.

Any ideas?

Knoppix is based on Debian/unstable. What does your /etc/apt/sources.list say ?

Thanks for the reply... BTW, how can I tell on the OS what verision it is (stable, unstable, etc.) I noticed at the end of the sources.list it says potato, unstable, is this how?

Here is the list:

root@Tpmb:~# more /etc/apt/sources.list
# See sources.list(5) for more information, especialy
# Remember that you can only use http, ftp or file URIs
# CDROMs are managed through the apt-cdrom tool.
