Increase of fonts size in xterm

How do i know what font xterm comes with by default? Once found, do i have to paste it to my ~/.Xresources and try to change the size? Thanks

Edit: i tried Ctrl+right click on the xterm but the default is the largest i can get.

I don't know the default font but the xfontsel utility may help you to select the kind of xterm*font: line you wish in ~/.Xresources. Fixed looks good to me but some people like Courier better. You need to explore with different fonts to find your own favourite.

I added this to my ~/.Xresources:

.xterm.vt100.font: -b&h-lucidatypewriter-medium-r-normal-*-*-140-*-*-m-*-iso10646-1

this thing wraps, it should be all one line, there is a space between the colon after font and the "-" like so:

.xterm.vt100.font: -b&h ...

$xrdb -merge /home/macondo/.Xresources

voilá
