While using the installer I am not sure if I did but I remember seeing the ext4.
I do remember while I was in the partition mgr I deleted every partition except the Windows stuff. I than made a new partition(20 GB) for the Debian install and included the / for the mount. That worked.
Than when I went to make another new partition for the swap space (1GB) the partition mgr turned that into 999.9 GB when I clicked go back to check what I did.
I than aborted the install and ejected the cd/dvd.
I used Easeus to look at the partitions and I did not see fat 16 anywhere.
This is what I found in ntfs and in Windows recovery:
Code:
Free space 79489.16 MB
Total size 139699.69 MB
231.10 GB Unformatted
10.34 MB Unallocated
Easeus would not let me explore the Ubuntu partition or Grub.
The Recovery is
Code:
Recovery 975.36 MB Free Space
Total size 3631.85 MB
I looked a second time and tho the terminal in Ubuntu see's the fat 16 it is not vi sable to me in Windows even with the use of Easeus-
What do you think?

Reason: Additional information
Multiple folders :
A folder that says Ati, a folder that says Config. msi; Gravis; Python 26; folder marked Temp; Program files; System Volume info.
Boot error log; Pagefile system; a folder marked Documents and Setting and a few other things that don't look anything like a folder but a small icon of a document.
