[SOLVED] How do I remove the Personal File Sharing banner in Nautilus?

AFAIK, the only directories with that banner are Public and Downloads. Try renaming them so that they don't have a capital initial letter. You will have to edit your Firefox prefs to change the default download location, because it will create a new Downloads folder on start up.
Alternatively you could uninstall the program that causes it to be there:
gnome-user-share
I don't yet know if it affects torrent style sharing or files/folders to be moved between machines on a lan or any of that so... there ya go. Also I had to reboot after removing it for it to go away.
