Sorry, amsn is already the newest version.
You might want to run `apt-get -f install' to correct these:
Sorry, but the following packages have unmet dependencies:
amsn: Depends: imlib1 but it is not going to be installed
Depends: tcl8.4 but it is not installable or
tcl8.3 but it is not going to be installed
Depends: sox but it is not going to be installed
Depends: tk8.4 but it is not installable or
tk8.3 but it is not going to be installed
Depends: libpng10-0 but it is not installable
Depends: docker but it is not installable
tcltls: Depends: libc6 (>= 2.3.2.ds1-4) but 2.2.5-11.5 is to be installed
Depends: libssl0.9.7 but it is not installable
Depends: tcl8.3 but it is not going to be installed or
tcl8.4 but it is not installable
E: Unmet dependencies. Try 'apt-get -f install' with no packages (or specify a solution).

apt-get install synaptic

Use it for all your apt needs.

You might have to change to testing or unstable to get amsn.

Seems to me that you are trying to install an old version of tcl/tk.

Where you got that amsm package ?

If it was not from your apt-get (maybe you downloaded it from the net?) you are going to run into that dependency problems. You would need to update your whole distribution to 'sarge' probably.
