you should upgrade your drbd tools!
drbd.d/xvdc.res:10: Parse error: 'TK_STRING | '{'' expected,
but got 'device' (TK 274)

I feel that I need this version 8.3.11

Problem resolved.

What I have come to know after the below message that the OS is asking to install drbd version 8.4.3

# drbdadm create-md xvdc
DRBD module version: 8.4.3
userland version: 8.3.13
you should upgrade your drbd tools!

I am facing the same problem but I need this version to be running 8.3.11.

I am trying to implement:
Xen 4.2.1 with Remus and DRBD on Ubuntu 12.10:
