Can anyone tell if Debian provides documentation for system updates to Debian Bookworm ?
I placed this exact question on Reddit forum expecting a answer since they have detailed documentation and the post was removed. The reason I am making this inquiry is it appears they are not putting out the same updates to all users for the same system.
or do you mean this: https://www.debian.org/News/2023/20231007 ?
(actually I don't understand your question, what do you mean by they are not putting out the same updates to all users for the same system.)
Post your sources.list. it should look something like this:
Code:
# Debian 12 Bookworm https://www.debian.org/releases/bookworm/
deb https://deb.debian.org/debian/ bookworm main contrib non-free non-free-firmware
# deb-src https://deb.debian.org/debian/ bookworm main contrib non-free
# Bookworm Security https://www.debian.org/releases/bookworm/
deb https://deb.debian.org/debian-security bookworm-security main contrib non-free
# deb-src https://deb.debian.org/debian-security bookworm-security main contrib non-free

# deb-src https://deb.debian.org/debian bookworm-updates main contrib non-free
# Bookworm Proposed Updates https://wiki.debian.org/StableProposedUpdates
# Stable-proposed-updates is an apt repository that contains the files that are being prepared for the next Debian/Stable point release.
# deb https://deb.debian.org/debian/ bookworm-proposed-updates main contrib non-free
# deb-src https://deb.debian.org/debian/ bookworm-proposed-updates main contrib non-free
# Bookworm Backports https://backports.debian.org/
# Backports are _not_ enabled by default.
# Enable them by uncommenting the following line:
# deb https://deb.debian.org/debian/ bookworm-backports main contrib non-free
# deb-src https://deb.debian.org/debian/ bookworm-backports main contrib non-free
I have noticed that bluetooth stopped working after an update and then corrected after an update. I have also noticed VLC 3.0.18 no longer plays videos currently properly. I will use this to see if I can identify what changes are occurring before applying the update.
