Does anyone have any problems running Debian on an AMD64? I'm about to install it (burning ISO as we speak) and want to be prepared for any difficulties I may encounter. Thanks for your help!
i installed Debian on my AMD64 and got success. I did't get any problem. and onemore thing, if u have Samsung Samtron 56v as ur monitor then when it ask for autodetection of minitor say no and go to advanced settings and enter screen sync range. All the best.. enjoy debian the ultimate
No problems for me, unless I'm running sid. Right now for me, amd64 + sid = lots of broken stuff. It's is really fast though and if you don't need flash, java, w32codecs, etc. should be fine.
