can't locate sd_mod
hi,
I am a linux learner and currently using debian3.0 woody with kernel 2.4.18. When I installed woody, I forgot to select the scsi support in modules configuration (I only selected usb-storage module), which causes my usb flash drive not working.
$lsmod
xirc2ps_cs
ds
pcmica_core
i82365
cs4232
ad1848
isa-pnp
soundcore
usbcore
usb-uhci
usb-storage
hid
usbkdb
input
deybdev
mousedev
I tried
$insmod scsi_mod
$insmod sd_mod
$modprobe scsi_mod
$modprobe sd_mod
But none of them works.
insmod: XXX: no module by that name found
modprobe: can't locate module XXX.
I found sg.o at
/lib/modules/2.4.18-bf2.4/kernel/drivers/scsi/
I installed it but nothing happened, --I still can't mount the flash drive.
please help
oh, I almost forgot to tell you my machine is IBM TP 600E
