Post Broadcast and default gateway

Hello,
Please consider the following output:
Code:
# ip address show
   1: lo: <LOOPBACK,UP,LOWER_UP> mtu 65536 qdisc noqueue state UNKNOWN group default qlen 1000
    link/loopback 00:00:00:00:00:00 brd 00:00:00:00:00:00
    inet 127.0.0.1/8 scope host lo
       valid_lft forever preferred_lft forever
    inet6 ::1/128 scope host
       valid_lft forever preferred_lft forever
   4: Control: <BROADCAST,MULTICAST,UP,LOWER_UP> mtu 1500 qdisc fq_codel state UP group default qlen 1000
    link/ether 08:62:66:c8:c3:e8 brd ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff
    altname enp0s25
    inet 172.21.50.28/25 brd 172.21.50.127 scope global dynamic noprefixroute Control
       valid_lft 83713sec preferred_lft 83713sec
    inet6 fe80::a62:66ff:fec8:c3e8/64 scope link noprefixroute
       valid_lft forever preferred_lft forever
Why does my system not have Default gateway, but the Windows operating systems on a same network has it?

Thank you.

I don't know but the posted output does not show route or gateway information.
How did you configure the posted ethernet port?

Wrong command maybe! When I use "ip address show", I don't get a default gateway displayed either. But when I type "ip route show" it's there.

Hello,
So the ip address show command does not show the gateway.

Thank you.
