apt-get upgrade

Hello everyone , just a quick question about apt-get upgrade,
i upgraded last night (well i think i did) but if i look at
$ cat /etc/debian_version it shows that its 3.0 , should this be
3.0r1 ?

Edit: I think i found the answer to be NO , /etc/debian_version
will only show 3.0 ..

Hi,

try to run an 'apt-get dist-upgrade' and check the version again, if it's still 3.0 and not 3.0r1 then they don't change it

Thanks stony, i tried apt-get dist-upgrade, and it stayed the same 3.0.

i asked a few ppl around there on some irc-chans and they told me that there won't be any change

at least for some compatibility reasons ...

Well i guess i'll have to wait for 3.1 to see a change in /etc/debian_version lol , thanks for looking into it for me stony.
