alsa,amd64,chroot and dmix
okay... so... i've a debian amd64 system... so to run 32bit applications i use a jail where there is a normale sid 32bit operative system... i set up alsa inside it... if i do an 'aplay test.wav' it works.... BUT in my 64bit system i set up also DMIX that is an alsa plugin setted in /etc/asound.conf that mixes all sounds... so i can hear music while receiving a sound from my instant messenger and so on... the problem is that dmix doesn't work inside the 32bit system... aplay test.wav works only if there's no other sound... i tried to copy /etc/asound.conf in /chroot/etc/asound.conf but this didn't seem to work... someone can help me? thanks a lot
PS: if i do an aplay test.wav while there's xmms playing here's the output
