a problem about text terminal logout

I use Debian sid and the kernel version is 2.6.7 which was not official image. I compiled it myself.

I found that the logout speed of tty1 was much faster than that of other ttys.

In another words, if I login at tty2 , finished some work then logout , it took a long time to see "Debian login". It maybe one min or more. But if I switched to other virtual terminal, such as tty1 , tty3 and so on, and switched back, the time could be shorted.
Only login at tty1, the logout time is about 2 seconds.

I didn't found materials related with this until now. so i come for help.

Thanks.

I also want to know that whether this problem is a common one or not. Who can just do a experiment and tell me the result. Thanks very much.

I'm having the same problem. Did you ever solve it? Looks like there's errors in my /var/log/auth.log file.
