Hello everyone! Just making a friendly post here, letting you know what's to come...

I just made a trade for an HP c3650 Visualize workstation. I haven't recieved it yet, but was wondering if there were any other brave souls out here that have tried to install the HPPA version of Debian Sarge on such a machine. I'm really geeked to try this out, but also aware that there are MANY differences in the hardware (compared to x86) and wanted to get as much information in advance as possible.

I'm sure I'll be back more than once to ask for help along the way, and if I'm successful, I'll add it to the HCL.

Good luck with that! I had an HP Visualize 9000 c240 (I think) and that thing was a monster. The only way I was ever to get sarge installed was installing using the the serial port (and not having the monitor directly attached). Why? I have no idea.
