Unhappy [New to Linux] Slow Wireless Internet Speed on Debian 12

Hello Linux Community,

I'm relatively new to Linux and have recently dual-booted Debian 12 alongside Windows 7 on my system. While my Windows 7 installation has no issues with wireless internet speed, I've encountered a problem with Debian where my wireless internet speed is significantly slower.

Problem Description:

Operating System: Debian 12
Issue: Slow wireless internet speed. It's noticeably slower than the speed I get on my Windows 7 installation. However, my wired Ethernet connection in Debian is fast, which suggests a wireless-specific problem.

Request for Help:

I'm seeking guidance and assistance from the Linux community to troubleshoot and resolve this issue. As a newcomer to Linux, I would appreciate clear, step-by-step instructions or suggestions on how to diagnose and fix this problem.

Additional Information:

If you need any additional information or logs, please let me know, and I'll provide them. Your help is greatly appreciated, and I'm eager to learn and resolve this issue.

Thank you for your time and support!

Best regards,
polyz_001

Hello, polyz_001 & welcome to LQ.

If you have wired internet access, why are you bothering with wifi? Post what type of wifi card you have
Code:
sudo lspci |grep -i Wireless
unless you have usb wifi. For that use
Code:
sudo lsusb
and post the results.
