using a flash drive based mp3 player to boot from?

hi, im wondering about using a flash drive based mp3 player for installing DSL.
in particular, this one: http://www.digitalnetworksna.com/sho....asp?model=265

it has a fixed internal memory with the option of expanding with a memory card.
according to the manual, when the player is pluged into to the computer, 2 drives show up in windows's my computer. (one for the internal memory and one for the flash card.)

anyone know if it would be possible to have the memory card installed with a bootable DSL (or other bootable distro) and leave the internal memory for the mp3 player?
