I'm trying to set up an old notebook running DSL as a file server. I know I need to set up samba to do this, but all my searches are turning up the wrong paradigm. I'm finding tons of info on how to access (from DSL) a share on a Windows box -- but I can't find a good how-to (for total Linux noobs) on how to set up a share on DSL that can be accessed from Windows boxes on the LAN. If anyone could point me toward a good how-to, I'd really appreciate it.
