You would need to add in GCC at the minimum, which in itself isn't really a problem as there are add-on DSL modules for GCC; but DSL is not a very good platform to try and develop on. Lack of a compiler not withstanding, DSL only includes the bare minimum libraries, which will make building anything more complicated than "Hello World" a problem.

Also, with embedded DSL you must create a virtual drive if you want to save anything. The instructions for creating a virtual drive with QEMU is included with the embedded DSL readme. Exporting your saved work to the host computer requires Samba or at least SMBClient.
