Need to know how to boot DSL (Usb drive) in Ubuntu


Oki, i'm running Ubuntu 7.04, by November 2k7 hopefully 7.10, and i need to know how to run my DSL USB drive in Ubuntu...
An easy to answer question: What will run .bat files CORRECTLY in Ubuntu?

In Gnome there's a manager for hot-pluggable devices tht handles CDs. Seek in Settings
