Looks like crap on my system

It's only 8 colors. It definatly does not look like the screenshots at damnsmalllinux.org. When I shutdown or reboot I can see the prompt and it has lines like this all over it:

rxvt: can't load "Yellow3"

Please help! I'm a true noob when it comes to linux. Here's a link to all my system hardware(I have 128mb of ram now though). http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/g...cname=bph05191

Nevermind, for some reason, I can't use any resolution higher than 800x600...

I got a new question. Where can I find sound drivers for Rockwell International Riptide PCI Audio Controller? I already tried searching google, but turned up nothing.

verify the md5sum of the downloaded iso before making the cd? www.md5summer.org has a program for windows. don't skip this step.

if you press f2 during initial boot up, you have additional options for boot up. choose expert so you can make choices during installation to ram that better reflecst your system.
