Installation Problems

Dear Forum,

I am a

and I want to install DSL on my very old PC.

My very old PC:
Sony Vaio,
Windows 95,
Pentium 2,
6GB HD, and
415 MB RAM

The story goes:
I downloaded and burned the ISO image, dsl-3.2-syslinux. I proceeded to install DSL. I put the CD in the CDROM and it booted up perfectly fine. I saw the screen with the penguin

and pressed enter for the installation. Then, it gets stuck or just hangs

. I dont know why this is happening. Since I am a newbie, I don't even know how I can troubleshoot. Hopefully someone can help.

You help is more than appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Will DSL run in live mode?
Have you tried installing in text mode?

Have you looked at the wiki?

well i have a close system to yours but worse i just installed a p2 64 ram 6 GB hd system ,, when i first booted it up it didnt work then i tried it again and it worked the second time but u gotta give the OS some time because the proccessor is very slow so just be patient and see what happens. If that dont work i dont know what to tell u .
