i cant seem to get dsl to format my hd


is there any way i can fix it?

edit: i usually get fatal disk error:cannot detect disk

The DSL version you are using probably doesn't support you're hard drive controller or chipset. Try a different kernel if you can.

actually i got it to work
i had to start dsl with boot="install"
