I'm using CentOS and it uses dhclient to get dhcp addresses.
It has a log in /var/lib/dhclient/dhclient.leases, and that
includes a statement like "option dhcp-server-identifier
192.168.0.1;".
If DSL doesn't use dhclient, try "find /var/lib -name '*leases*'"
to see if you find the log file.
You mean the server that gave your dsl box it's external IP?
That would be the default gateway of your dsl box. In my case, if i go to 192.168.1.254, i get a webpage for configuring my router. This information will be in there under something like 'IP Gateway'.
Hope thats what you're looking for!
