Excellent stuff - feel free to post an update to the sticky too so it gets maximum coverage.
I seem to have solved my DSM board posting problem simply by enabling the "Remember my log-in details" option when logging in via damnsmalllinux.org/cgi-bin/forums/ikonboard.cgi?.
This takes you to a screen with Control Panel access and Log Out options. If you return to this screen after posting and use the Log Out option you are told that all cookies will be disabled after the session and apparently - in Firefox 2.0.011 at least - they are.
I am having the same problems. I have logged in two separate times with different names and emails, sent their little email back to them, activated my account, and STILL cannot post there. I am a new dsl user who's so frustrated I could scream. The directions posted in all their how-tos aren't clear to the idiot who is trying to learn this new distro, and I would like a place to ask questions. Nobody is listening over there and there is no way to contact anyone with this problem. Its a shame too because I have fallen in love with the distro, it fits me to a T. I just can't do the things that I should be able to do according to the site and the Official DSL book. Can somebody who can post over there, PLEASE tell them about this problem?
Sorry to hear you're having problems getting onboard the DSL forum. I've made your situation known to the moderators and hopefully your application will be processed successfully soon.
