C compiler for dsl

I was trying to install gaim on a HD install of dsl and it said it needed a C compiler. What should i get?

If you have anything like a recent and complete distribution already installed, you should have gcc. If you don't, then get it.

Beaver comes with DSL, try that

Go to myDSL extension browser (or myDSL browser if you're in jwm), and you'll see a bunch of buttons:

Apps, Games, Gtk2, Multimedia, Net, System, Themes, UCI, WM_Apps

Click System, and look for gcc.info. Tell it to download to /tmp, and it will automatically install gcc for you.
