$username,

LinuxQuestions.org has reached another milestone. 2,500,000 - That's how many posts we have at LQ now. Wow. Rounding out the stats for those interested, we are just shy of 500,000 threads and have well over 275,000 registered members. I'd like to thank each and every member for making LQ what it is. Without the members, we'd be nothing. The phenomenal mod team has also been a huge part of our success. I look forward to the next two and a half million and remain dedicated to ensuring that LQ is a friendly and active atmosphere for discussing all things Linux and Open Source. As always, if you have feedback on the site don't hesitate to let us know.

While on the topic of 2,500,000, LQ ISO is just shy of having facilitated that many downloads. While LQ ISO has the latest downloads, such as Ubuntu 6.10 and Fedora Core 6, it also has a wide variety of lesser known distributions that you may be interested in trying out. With almost 400 distribution versions available from over 675 mirrors, http://iso.linuxquestions.org/ is the place to download Linux ISO's.

Have you been listening to the LinuxQuestions.org Podcast? It's a great way to get the latest in Linux and Open Source news. To listen, head over to http://radio.linuxquestions.org/ (you can choose mp3, ogg or streaming via flash). If you'd like to automatically get the latest episodes, point your podcatcher to http://radio.linuxquestions.org/syndicate/lq.php (or itms://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewPodcast?id=73330686 if you're an iTunes user). We release at least one podcast per week. If you enjoy the LQ Podcast you can vote for us at Podcast Alley ( http://www.podcastalley.com/one_vote2.php?pod_id=777 ) and help us get some exposure. Tune in to LQ Radio today.

Remember that the new LQ Sitemap will allow you to explore LQ and may lead you to parts of the site you didn't even know existed. Visit http://www.linuxquestions.org/linux/sitemap.html to learn more. Speaking of little known features, have you used the advanced search? Available at http://www.linuxquestions.org/questions/search.php , the advanced search not only allows you to search by keyword, tag and username, but also allows you to add arbitrary search parameters such as date, forum and even number of posts. It also allows you to search the HCL, LQ Wiki, Reviews, Articles and more. The search recently received a major speed improvement as well.
