I did the kvm installation properly according to a youtube video. However when I tried to get kvm up and working to let me do virtualization I got the following error msg:

WARNING KVM acceleration not available, using 'qemu'
ERROR Couldn't create default storage pool '/var/lib/libvirt/images': Could not build storage pool: cannot create path '/var/lib/libvirt/images': Unknown error 18446744073709551615

Now i created a symbolic link to link the /var/lib/libvirt/images to /home/qemu

what am i doing wrong and how can i fix it?
