Need help increase screen resolution

I have just installed CentOS 8.3 on my machine which has an NVIDIA Quadro P620. The highest screen resolution CentOS can display on my machine is 800x600 while my monitor can display 1920x1080. I then installed nvidia-driver:latest-dkms, but it did not help increasing the screen resolution. Can anyone help?

Knowledge of if you're using a virtual machines may help, as they can have their own display settings?

Multi-booting won't matter as much if one learns to search basic Linux questions...

You'd only have to deal with me in the pointless questions if they only ask the hard ones!?.
