i have this problem with some of my workstations and my wacom tablets

i have been on the main wacom website and they dont include linux drivers so im going to follow this video on how to install wacom drivers on a centos 7 machine

has anyone installed wacom drivers on a centos 7 machine or a linux machine

how do i see the list of drivers and the driver versions on centos 7 via terminal, can i roll back any of the drivers?

You should not need to roll-back or downgrade the driver. As explained in the first link, the latest version of the RHEL7/CentOS7 driver have added the "Pressure2K" option to work around software like Mari and Nuke that don't properly handle the expanded pressure range.

Run and verify that it indicates you have version "0.34.2-2". Earlier releases do not support this option. Afterwards, create a file in the /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d directory with the following contents:

You can check that the option is enabled by grepping through the Xorg log file for the string "Pressure2K" or checking the behavior of Mari/Nuke.

in order to roll back something you have to have that in which to roll back to. in other words if you got a copy of different versions of something then depending on dependencies of each version yes you can try installing the different versions until you find one that works. Just remove the prior one first. rebooting or logging out and in again too maybe required.

if they are rpm's then command line install should work, if it is source make sure your makefile has a uninstall rule in it so you can easily uninstall it if needed. you can put one in yourself if needed before you compile the source. Or just follow the instructions.

maybe you need a new graphics drawing tablet .such as XP-Pen StarG640 , I had bought one from amazon.com/StarG640-Ultrathin-Graphics-Battery-free-pressure/dp/B078YR2MTF ,I feel good.
