hi,

since a few days i try to install a guest Addition to create a common Folder through host and guest.

but i have the following Problem:
[IMG]C:\Users\374845\Pictures\fehler1.png[/IMG]

i have given the comand sh ./VBoxLinuxAdditions.run
in the Shell, and i got the following message:
sh: ./VBVBoxLinuxAdditions.run: Data oder folder not found.

but the file is there and i was also in the Folder where my cd-rom drive is mounted, and i have also executed as root.

any help?

Are you sure you executed the right command?
You said you ran
Code:
sh ./VBoxLinuxAdditions.run
However, the output said
Code:
sh: ./VBVBoxLinuxAdditions.run: Data oder folder not found.
And I would avoid using the command sh unless I am sure that it is a shell script (You may check the first line of VBoxLinuxAdditions.run).
And you should alway be careful with sh, since it may be a symbol link to bash, but not always.
I would suggest running the executable by
Code:
# chmod +x VBoxLinuxAdditions.run
# ./VBoxLinuxAdditions.run
