As I said in your other thread: start by reading the installation documentation. Then try. If you fail please post:
- where you got the RPM package from,
- what steps you took to install this software and
- what errors you got.

Are you running CentOS without good reason? Are you really sure you should be using CentOS 7? Its repos aren't populated yet like the CentOS 6 repos are.

The you have a major problem because the first three links (https://launchpad.net/i-nex‎, sourceforge.net/projects/i-nex/‎, i-nex.linux.pl/install/) should get you the tar ball or RPM package and more information. Maybe you should not be using i-nex‎ but another (command line) tool?

You could download the *.tar.gz and investigate compiling from sources, but it seems very Ubuntu-centric. I would suggest that you take a look at hardinfo, if you are using a GUI with CentOS. Hardinfo is an excellent tool for hardware information.

It should be in the CentOS repos. It was there for CentOS v. 6 and earlier.

Does anyone else find the default colouring on inxi annoying ?. I've alias'd it so they are gone.

Thank you. I know the command but problem is that I can't see the number of Memory slots, the number of free Slots and etc. Any idea or options?

Did you understand the message that tells you that you must run the program as root (sudo or su depending on how you have things set up) in order to get the ram info?

You are not familiar with grepping out?
As in 'inxi -zv7|grep DIMM.*speed'?

Those lines numbered 1 to 18 that say DIMM on them are your memory slots. You could count them. But the numbering 1 to 18 makes it pretty clear there are 18 of them.

The line above those:
Quote:
Memory: Array-1 capacity: 192 GB devices: 9 EC: Single-bit ECC
tells you ???
I think each CPU has its own memory array and each memory array can have up to 9 sticks. But only one memory array is reported. I'm not sure what that means.

You could grep and count as unSpawn suggested to see how many look like

Quote:
Device-1: PROC 1 DIMM 1G size: No Module Installed
type: DDR3 (Synchronous) bus width: 64 bits (total: 72 bits)
which are free ram slots

vs.

manufacturer: N/A part: N/A serial: N/A
which are occupied ram slots.

I seen Array 1 but how about other Array?

I'm not certain, but I think it is best to have matched sets of 3 DIMMs, with half the ram on one PROC and half the ram on the other.

With just 4 DIMMs, that obviously wasn't possible. So I think you are missing significant performance by having 4 DIMMs instead of two matched sets of 3.

How much were you planning to add?

You seem to have room for more than you probably want to buy.

I checked the E5620 specs on the Intel website and that confirms you want each CPU to have DIMMs in matched sets of 3.

You might want to use dmidecode directly to get better detail on the RAM you have now in order to match it. inxi is using dmidecode, but is not giving you all the detail dmidecode gave it. I would use
dmidecode | less
then search for DIMM to find the relevant section. (If you don't know how to navigate in less, pick some tool you know).

In your idea, I can't find any Graphical program like CPU-Z in CentOS 7?
