My centos 6 server crashed while cleaning old backups. 47 websites run on this. The server is currently only accessible from the console.
My question is: can I download the backups made with directadmin via the console. So that I can set up the server again and then put it back?
I'm explaining basic stuff here. Treat your server responsibly.
If you havent a backup, download files with http, ftp, through a browser. Lynx works in a console. Also wget or curl, each of which have their man page.

1) Yes, you can. But how, we cannot say unless you provide more detail.
2) If it's so urgent, why did you not provide more detail and initial troubleshooting results; and why haven't you replied in over 24h?
It would have been quicker to learn the basics rather than join LQ and start posting here. At least we needn't bother trying to fix Centos 6, since that's EOL.
More interestingly, it looks like they asked the question here right after they've been told what the situation is.
Maybe if they ask the same question to all the Linux forums out there, they will stumble upon someone who actually uses that control panel.
Sounds like more work than actually going the ssh/console route, but who am I to argue...
