Can't start computer after CentOS 7 installation freeze

After CentOS 7 installation freeze, I turned off power. Now I can't enter boot menu nor BIOS. HDD LED lights almost without interruption.

Anyone know please how to fix it ?

HDD failure stalling the system on POST? Could explain the installation freeze as well.

It wasn't possible to enter boot menu as I wrote that.

I've removed HDD, connected to another PC and repaired using http://www.cgsecurity.org/wiki/TestDisk

Everything seems to be ok now.

which POST do you mean ?

There were no problems with HDD until power on after freeze.

The BIOS.

A malfunctioning drive can hang the system when the BIOS tries to detect it during POST.

I was partitioning disk during installation so I expected problems when installation had frozen.

Do you think HW problem is more probable than SW problem ?

If a drive hangs the BIOS while being detected, it's almost certainly a hardware problem. Could have also just been a bad connection too, that can do it.
