Update Message Befuddles Me

The last several times I've updated, I get the following message when I'm nearly at the end of updates:

W: initramfs-tools configuration sets RESUME=UUID=1b0b9f28-4745-40e7-9bad-5cc3ff41e862
W: but no matching swap device is available.

What does this mean, and how can I fix it? That might also be a source of that other issue I posted, about the 90-second delay looking for something during bootup.

i am fairly sure this is the same uuid from your bootup issue. i believe if you run
Code:
blkid
you will get the uuid of your swap partition. mine looks like:

/dev/sdaX: UUID="*long string of numbers*" TYPE="swap" PARTUUID="*shorter string"

when i had to change mine, i had to edit /etc/initramfs-tools/conf.d/resume using sudo and my text editor of choice. then i had to run
Code:
sudo update-initramfs -u -k all
it's definitely a good idea to make a quick backup of your resume file just in case before editing
