hi I ran bodhi 6.0 ;ive and then tried to install onto my hard disk partition. (I chose something else since I have others OS on this disk)
The install did not complete even after 3 hours and I killed it. It was not hung since I could see some log updates.
But I could not see why it took so long? (btw I did have download updates selected)
Some kind of progress indicator would have helped but there is none. The message displayed was "detecting file system" it is only when i clicked on the disabled skip button the log showed up in a text box below.
Is this normal or is there a different way to do the install?
I usually simply unpack the iso and add a menu entry to my grub config. but I dont know the kernel params to pass
